President & CEO of Klondex Mines (KLDX:NYSE MKT), Paul Huet, tells us how the company keeps growing and moving forward.
Klondex is a Gold and Silver producer, on a path to produce 150 thousand oz gold equivalent ounces this year, which is approximately sixteen percent increase from last year.
We have two operating mines in Northern Nevada. We have the Midas Mine and we also have the Fire Creek mine one of the highest gold grade mines in the world.
The most recent asset we’ve acquired is Rice Lake in southern Manitoba in Canada. We’re in the process of doing the technical work to make a production decision in the second half of 2016.
That would give us our third operation. Within 18 months we could be operating between a hundred and eighty to two hundred thousand ounces.
We have tremendous opportunity in Nevada for exploration upside while we’re doing the technical work up in Canada. We have two drills on each site turning at any given time and our objective in 2016 & 17 is extend our mine lives and add to our mill.
What separates us from the rest of our peers is undoubtedly our management team. They don’t know how to fail, they’ll overcome any obstacles, and that’s what allows us to be very good at what we’re doing and in a very challenging market we’ve been very successful in adding quite a bit of money to our balance sheet.
We’re now a mid-tier producer on our way to growing even better achievements.
