We’re a junior gold explorer focused on our assets in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Centered around a former producer the Colomac Mine we now have a 2.1 million ounce resource and we’re building that towards, three and beyond. I think it has a potential to host five to six.
Nighthawk Gold Corp. is a Canadian-based gold exploration company with a district scale land position (222,203 acres or 900 km2), within the Indin Lake Greenstone Belt, located approximately 200 km north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Nighthawk is focused on advancing the Colomac Gold Project with a current inferred resource of 2.1 million ounces of gold (39.8 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.64 gpt Au, see Resource Estimate), as well as advancing its other regional gold deposits and showings on its Indin Lake Gold Property, within a highly prospective and underexplored Archean gold camp.
The Indin Lake Greenstone Belt is one of Canada’s most underexplored Archean gold camps and host to the Colomac Gold deposit, Nighthawk’s premier asset. Highlighted by newly discovered near surface high-grade gold zones. Lying within the West Bay – Indin Lake Fault Zone, a major regional structure extending over 200 km from the Giant and Con Gold Mines (13 million ounces) north to the Colomac Gold Mine (500,000 ounces past production), Nighthawk believes this structure played a major role in localization of Indin Lake Gold Camp mineralization, much the same as the Destor-Porcupine Fault’s influence on gold deposition within the Timmins Gold Camp.
