CanAlaska Uranium: Exploring Near One of the Richest Uranium Mines in the World
CanAlaska Uranium is focused on exploring for uranium in the Athabasca Basin region. The exploration is in the vicinity of the largest and richest uranium mines in the world.
“The most advanced project is the West McArthur Project. It’s probably the most significant uranium discovery in the last five years in the Athabasca. And we’ve continued to drill over the past year.”, says President and CEO, Peter Dasler.
Furthermore, CanAlaska is 70% owner and operator of the Joint Venture with Cameco. This project is close to the worlds richest Uranium Mine, Cameco’s McArthur River. It’s also adjacent to Fox Lake, discovered by Cameco in 2016. Twenty-five million dollars of work has successfully identified seven target areas.
“In the next few months we will see multiple holes go into the center of the target area and that can give our shareholders a good return, which would also allow us to talk about future partnerships with other groups and start to develop our other projects.”, says Dasler.
