Magna Gold currently has two projects, The Mercedes Gold Project in the Sierra Madre, a very prolific mineral district. Additionally, their newly acquired project is the San Judas Gold Project and is located in Sonora, Mexico.
Mercedes Gold Project
The Mercedes property is situated within the municipality of Yécora, eastern Sonora in the Sierra Madre Occidental. It’s 250 kilometres east-southeast from the state capital, Hermosillo and 20km WNW of the local centre of Yécora. It comprises two mineral concessions covering 344.75 hectares. Further, the district is host to numerous small and several large-scale gold and silver deposits.
“Our vision as a company is to become a producer within the next two years. We also want to become a 5 million ounce company over that same period of time and keep growing”, says Arturo Bonillas.
