Mountain Province: One of the World's Largest Diamond Mines

Mountain Province Diamonds is a partner in one of the world's largest and richest new diamond mines at the edge of Canada's Arctic Circle.

They are a Canadian diamond mining company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.

Joint Venture with De Beers Group

The company has a 49 percent ownership of this top tier long-life mine and is in joint venture partnership with De Beers Group.

In addition, they have strong relationships with regional stakeholders and is building a long term brand for Canadian diamonds.

Mountain Province's Gahcho Kué

The Gahcho Kué mine is the world's largest new diamond mine. In fact, it has the potential to become one of Canada's major high-grade and long-lived diamond mines.

Overall, the mine is projected to produce an average of 4.5 million carats a year (100%) over an initial 12-year life.

Production during the first five years (2017-2021) is expected to average of 5.4 million carats a year (100%).
