Gold Camp Exploration in the Northwest Territories | Nighthawk Gold Corp
“At Nighthawk, our main focus is to advance our regional land package, Indin Lake Property. Centered around a former producing mine, The Colomac Mine, which is a multi-million ounce deposit. And in turn unravel the untapped exploration potential of the gold camp that it sits in. We’re ready for this challenge and keen to get going.” – Michael Byron, President & CEO of Nighthawk Gold Corp.
Nighthawk Gold Corp. is a Canadian-based gold exploration company. This company is with a district scale land position (222,203 acres or 900 km2), within the Indin Lake Greenstone Belt. That is located approximately 200 km north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Nighthawk is focused on advancing the Colomac Gold Project with a recently updated inferred resource of 2.6 million ounces of gold (50.3 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.62 gpt Au, see Resource Estimate), as well as advancing its other regional gold deposits and showings on its Indin Lake Gold Property, within a highly prospective and underexplored Archean gold camp.
Colomac lies within the north central portion of Nighthawk’s Indin Lake Gold Property. The regional land package consists of a contiguous position surrounding the Colomac gold deposit, and includes more than 90% of the Indin Lake Greenstone Belt. Access to the project area is by winter road from Yellowknife or year-round by chartered aircraft making use of Colomac’s 5,000 foot airstrip.
