Glenn Jessome, Oceanus Resources’ CEO On a Larger Gold Project
Glenn Jessome speaks on the gold and resources assets developing in Sonora, Mexico.
The main commodity focus for us is gold and silver. Oceanus is exploring and developing, gold and resource assets in Sonora, Mexico. In the famous Sierra Madre. Our project is the El Tigre project located in the Northern Sierra Madre in Sonora. We think that we have one of the last district scale plays in the Sierra Madre. We’ve proven some of that very quickly in a limited time owning the asset. But that was only over about a kilometer. And a half of the actual 35 kilometer long project. It’s to the North and to the South where these veins continue. The company just delivered a 43-101 compliant estimate, that is the exciting part. We’ll start doing some PEA like work. With respect to that resource estimate it’s an open pit, heat bleachable, it’s all oxidized. It’s a dip slope deposit that works with the mountain. So we’re going to start doing the economic work around that. Because what we’re going to be able to prove is that we’re going to have more ore shoots along this project. And it’s going to allow us, as a small company to quickly deliver the type of ounces in multiple locations, North and South. To actually prove that we have a district style and size play in the Sierra Madre. And that’s very, very exciting for our young company.Experienced management and technical teams have a track record of finding, financing and building gold and silver mines. In September, 2017 Oceanus announced the Company’s maiden resource estimation for the El Tigre Project, located in Sonora, Mexico.Step-out drill holes completed to the south and north of the Main Deposit have returned significant gold and silver values. Reminiscent of the bonanza silver and gold grades mined underground in the 1920’s and 1930’s at the old El Tigre mine. Supporting the theory that the El Tigre mineralized system may be much larger than previously thought. For more information on Oceanus Resources (OCN:TSX.V) please fill out the form below.
