Access to Niobium: Rare Metal Used in EV Batteries | Plato Gold Corp

Plato is one of the few companies with access to niobium, the rare metal needed for some EV batteries. The project’s desirable location and near surface deposit present an attractive growth opportunity.

Plato currently holds a portfolio of significant properties near Marathon, Ontario (4,208 ha), Timmins, Ontario (2,032 ha) and Santa Cruz, Argentina (9,672 ha). Plato provides an attractive platform of prospective properties with qualified people in established and active mining areas.

In Northern Ontario:

Near Marathon, Ontario, Plato has optioned the Good Hope Niobium Property which we are currently actively exploring.

Outside Timmins, Ontario, Plato holds varying interests in four properties located along the Destor Porcupine Fault Zone in close proximity to past and currently producing gold mines.

In Santa Cruz, Argentina:

In Santa Cruz, Argentina Plato embarked on a joint venture with Dr. Paul Lhotka to explore the 9,672 ha Lolita property. After several exploration programs, the Lolita property is drill ready. There are many precious metals projects in close proximity to Lolita.

All of Plato’s properties are located in major mining camps and possess excellent potential for the further development of precious metals and, near Marathon, Ontario, for niobium.
