BMO ETFs Highlights Simplicity and Low Cost in Asset Allocation ETFs

All in one ETFs offer diversified exposure through a single trade

Easy to use asset allocation ETFs have become a popular investment choice for Canadians, with more than 90 options available in the market.

According to BMO ETFs, an asset allocation ETF bundles several ETFs into one product, giving investors access to a globally diversified portfolio of equities and fixed income through a single trade. The simplicity and liquidity of this structure continues to resonate with investors, while diversification helps support risk adjusted returns over time.

In Canada, management fees for asset allocation ETFs can range from approximately 50 basis points down to 15 basis points. BMO ETFs recently lowered management fees on most of its asset allocation ETFs to approximately 15 basis points, allowing investors to keep more of their capital invested.

BMO differentiates its all in one ETFs by using index ETFs as the underlying holdings, supported by long-term historical data for buy and hold investing. The company also incorporates discount bonds in the fixed income allocation for investors using these ETFs in taxable accounts, which may help manage taxes over time.
