CEO Clips - Cosa Resources Advances Uranium Exploration in the Athabasca Basin

Joint venture projects positioned near world-class uranium mines

Why is Cosa Resources exploring near Cigar Lake and Hurricane?
Cosa Resources is focused on uranium exploration in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, targeting projects located near some of the world’s most significant uranium deposits.

In uranium exploration, location matters.

Cosa Resources is a uranium-focused exploration company operating in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin — one of the most prolific uranium regions globally.

The company’s strategy is straightforward: explore next to existing world-class deposits.

Cosa’s joint venture projects, where it holds a 70% interest alongside Denison Mines, are centered around Derby Lake and Murphy Lake North. Derby Lake is located approximately ten kilometres from the Cigar Lake mine, widely recognized as the largest uranium mine in the world. Murphy Lake North sits within close proximity to the Hurricane deposit, discovered in 2018 by members of Cosa’s technical team during their previous tenure at ISO Energy.

Management emphasizes that the most logical place to look for uranium is near known uranium systems. The company’s land position reflects that thesis.

Cosa maintains a treasury of just under $10 million CAD and intends to deploy that capital aggressively through drilling over the next 12 to 24 months.
