CEO Clips - Kirkland Lake Discoveries Advances 25,000m Drill Program in Historic Ontario Camp

Exploring copper, gold, and critical minerals in a century-old mining district

What is Kirkland Lake Discoveries drilling this year?

Kirkland Lake Discoveries is conducting a 25,000-metre drill program in Ontario’s historic Kirkland Lake camp, targeting copper, gold, and critical minerals across both greenfields and historic resource assets.

Kirkland Lake has been a producing mining camp for more than 100 years.

Kirkland Lake Discoveries is positioning itself within that legacy district, targeting copper, gold, and other critical minerals.

The company’s flagship KL West property is located directly within the Kirkland Lake camp. Historical work has demonstrated high-grade material and evidence of multiple mineralizing events, suggesting a long-lived system.

Management describes the current phase as early-stage evaluation, aimed at understanding the scale and continuity of the mineralization.

To complement greenfields exploration, the company acquired the Mirado Gold project, which hosts a historic resource of 442,000 ounces. Management views the historic resource not as the end goal, but as a starting point for further exploration upside.

A 25,000-metre drill program is currently underway. The company expects consistent news flow through early summer as results are released.
