The company is exploring its Horsefly property, a land position covering approximately 200 km² in a region that has recently attracted attention following significant gold discoveries.

According to President and CEO Jean-Marc Lacoste, the exploration thesis is based on proximity to known mineral systems.

In the mining industry, new deposits frequently occur near existing discoveries because mineralization can extend across large geological structures.

Visible Gold Mines’ land position sits alongside the Nelligan gold complex, an area where previous exploration has outlined multi-million-ounce gold resources.

The district has already demonstrated the ability to host large gold systems, making surrounding ground a priority target for exploration companies.

Within the Horsefly property, Visible Gold Mines has identified numerous historical gold occurrences.

Some earlier drilling results reported grades of up to 18 grams per tonne gold over 1.6 metres, highlighting the potential for high-grade mineralization.

Rather than exploring the property broadly, the company plans what management describes as a “surgical approach” to exploration.

This strategy focuses on targeting specific geological structures and known mineralized zones where the probability of discovery may be higher.

For investors, gold exploration in established districts often combines two key factors: favorable geology and proximity to major discoveries.

Visible Gold Mines believes its land position places the company within one of Quebec’s next emerging gold camps.
