Reopening of a Fully Licensed Gold Mine
Golden Predators’ Brewery Creek Gold Mine in the Yukon is fully licensed
Golden Predator is advancing the past-producing Brewery Creek Gold Mine towards a timely resumption of mining activities, under its valid Quartz Mining and Water Licenses, in Canada’s Yukon.
“We recently completed a private placement for about eight and a half million dollars that is going predominantly to drilling Brewery Creek. So, we can upgrade and expand the resource”, says CEO Janet Lee-Sheriff.
About Golden Predators’ Brewery Creek
With established resources grading more than 1.0 g/t Gold and low capex to production in a safe first world jurisdiction, the turnkey Brewery Creek Mine has a clear path to production as an economically and environmentally proven project. Optimization studies are progressing to enhance the already positive multi-phase project economics described in the 2014 Preliminary Economic Assessment. Drilling continues to expand the numerous open ended resources and untested targets across the 186 km2 brownfield property.
The company also believes in strong community ties. “When we wanted to restart the Brewery Creek Gold Mine, the first place we went was to the Tr’ondek Hwech’in. And it was important that we understand that we both share the same vision for the project and that they were supportive of our plan”, says Lee-Sheriff.
