Backed by an experienced team, strong drill results, and a fully funded program, Capitan is advancing exploration in Mexico’s core silver belt.

Capitan Silver Corp is focused on its Cruz de Plata project, located in the central portion of Mexico’s silver belt, a region that has historically produced a significant share of the country’s silver output. The project sits within a well-established mining corridor, where existing infrastructure and geological continuity support ongoing exploration efforts.

Recent drilling has returned some of the strongest results recorded on the property, reinforcing the presence of a high-grade system. These results follow a period of renewed activity after investment from the Jupiter Gold and Silver Fund enabled the company to restart and expand its exploration program. At the same time, Capitan completed a consolidation of its land position, allowing for more coordinated and efficient drilling across the project.

A key differentiator for Capitan is its leadership and technical team, many of whom previously worked together at Argonaut Gold. That group was involved in identifying, developing, and operating mineral assets in Mexico, providing experience that spans exploration through to production. Management points to this continuity as an advantage when advancing Cruz de Plata through its current stage of growth.

Looking ahead, the company has outlined a 60,000 metre drill program for 2026, significantly increasing the scale of exploration compared to the prior year. The objective is to better understand the size and continuity of the system, with a steady flow of results expected as drilling progresses. Capitan enters this phase fully funded, following a year that also saw recognition on the TSX Venture 50.
