Cartier Resources: Drilling Into Quebec’s Gold-Rich Terrain
Cartier Resources is aiming to define the next major gold camp in Quebec with a large-scale drill program and a strong foundation of exploration data.

With a robust gold resource and 100,000 metres of drilling planned, Cartier Resources is making a long-term bet on Canada’s mining heartland
Cartier Resources is ramping up efforts in Quebec’s Abitibi region, one of the most storied gold-producing belts in the world. CEO Philippe Cloutier says the company’s 20-kilometre property holds the potential to be the next major discovery east of Val-d'Or. Already home to a 2.3 million ounce gold resource and a past-producing mine, Cartier has outlined a plan to complete 100,000 metres of drilling—roughly 500 holes—targeting shallow depths to expand known mineralized zones.
This aggressive campaign is expected to generate steady exploration updates and expand investor visibility. With a Preliminary Economic Assessment already filed and strong gold prices creating favorable market conditions, Cartier is advancing its long-term vision through methodical, high-volume exploration. For investors following Canada's junior mining space, Cartier’s progress in this established gold corridor will be one to watch.
