Getty Copper is advancing copper exploration in British Columbia’s Highland Valley, next to Canada’s largest copper mine, with encouraging drill results and more than $20 million in capital to support an accelerated exploration program.
With a history spanning nearly 60 years, Getty Copper is drawing renewed attention to its copper assets in one of Canada's most established mining districts. Located adjacent to the Highland Valley Copper Mine, the company believes its strategic location and historical mineralization provide a strong foundation for further exploration.
Recent drilling has reinforced that potential, with management highlighting intersections of approximately 150 metres grading 0.7% copper and46 metres grading 1.47% copper. These results build on historical grades and support the company's decision to accelerate drilling across its properties.
Getty Copper also reports having more than $20 million in capital available for deployment over the next 15 months, providing funding to advance exploration and evaluate the scale of its copper mineralization.
With an accelerated drill program, encouraging copper grades and multiple exploration milestones ahead, Getty Copper is positioning 2027 as a potentially significant year for resource growth and project advancement in British Columbia's Highland Valley.
