PlasCred is advancing plastic recycling technology that converts difficult-to-recycle plastic waste into renewable oil, creating new opportunities for circular plastics production and reducing reliance on landfills and incineration.
PlasCred is tackling one of the biggest challenges in plastic recycling: recovering value from hard-to-recycle plastics that typically end up in landfills or incinerators. Through its advanced recycling process, the company converts discarded plastics into recycled oil that can be returned to refineries and used to manufacture new plastics, supporting a more circular economy.
With refining capabilities designed to scale from 2,000 to 10,000 barrels per day, PlasCred is pursuing large-scale plastic waste recovery. The company also highlights its relationship with Canadian National Railway (CN) as a logistical advantage, helping aggregate and transport plastic waste across North America to support future processing capacity.
By combining advanced recycling technology, scalable processing capabilities and access to transportation infrastructure, PlasCred is working to turn plastic waste into a valuable industrial resource.
