“The best place to find a mine is beside another mine,” Boivin explains.

The company’s land position sits near existing mining operations, including projects that have already demonstrated significant economic potential. This proximity supports the geological theory that large mineral systems can extend across broader structural trends.

The district itself is recognized as one of the world’s notable gold vein systems, with kilometers of mineralized structures that remain largely unexplored with modern exploration tools.

Quimbaya’s focus is identifying areas within these structures that may host new discoveries.
