With exposure to gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc, and supported by a funded exploration partnership, the company is advancing toward a new drill campaign aimed at defining potential polymetallic mineralization.

Canstar Resources is advancing exploration in Newfoundland, a region consistently ranked among the top global mining jurisdictions. The company’s focus is on volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) systems, which are known for hosting multiple metals within a single deposit, offering exposure to both precious metals and critical minerals.

The company’s core exploration efforts are centered on the Buchans district, historically recognized as one of the highest-grade VMS mining camps globally. Past production in the region reported exceptionally high base metal grades, providing a geological foundation that continues to guide current exploration strategies.

Canstar’s portfolio is structured to provide diversified commodity exposure, combining gold and silver potential with copper, lead, and zinc. This polymetallic profile allows the company to participate in multiple commodity cycles, rather than relying on a single metal.

A key component of the company’s strategy is its partnership with VMS Mining Corporation, led by industry participants with experience in VMS exploration and development. Following approximately a year of initial exploration, Canstar is preparing to launch a drill campaign designed to test high-priority targets within the district. The program represents the next phase in evaluating the scale and continuity of mineralization across its land package.
