CEO Clips - Eminent Gold: Nevada Discovery Strategy Targets Untapped Carlin-Style Gold

Why are experienced Nevada explorers focused on untouched ground near Carlin-type systems?

Eminent Gold believes new discoveries can still be made in one of the world’s most productive gold districts.

Eminent Gold Corp. is advancing early-stage exploration in Nevada with a discovery-first approach focused on Carlin-style gold environments. The company’s Hot Springs Range project had never been systematically explored before, and initial drilling intersected gold in the first four holes—an uncommon outcome in grassroots programs. With a tightly held share structure and a team led by decades of Nevada experience, Eminent is testing whether overlooked ground can host the next meaningful gold find.

Nevada has supplied more gold than any other state in the U.S., yet large areas remain lightly explored. Eminent Gold has chosen to concentrate entirely within this jurisdiction, targeting the same geological settings that produced the famous Carlin deposits.

Dan McCoy, President & CEO of Eminent Gold, explains the rationale:
“With Eminent Gold, we’re completely focused in Nevada. It’s one of the most gold-rich parts of the crust. Our main opportunity is gold discovery in the region of Carlin-type gold deposits.”

The company’s flagship Hot Springs Range project stands out because it arrived with almost no historical work. There were no prior rock or soil samples, giving the team a clean slate to apply modern methods.

McCoy notes the early results were encouraging:
“It’s never been explored before. We hit gold on our first four holes in good host rock, which doesn’t happen all the time. Sometimes people have to drill a lot of holes before they find where the gold is.”

Eminent’s strategy relies on disciplined targeting rather than chasing crowded trends. The company is tightly held with a limited share count, allowing it to advance programs without the heavy dilution often seen in junior exploration.
