Gold exploration in the Golden Triangle of Northwestern British Columbia
Eskay Mining is an exploration company focusing on the exploration and development of precious and base metals in British Columbia. Moreover, the exploration is in a highly prolific, poly metallic area known as the Eskay Rift Belt. This is located in the Golden Triangle, 70km northwest of Stewart, B.C.
"We have a geological team second to none in the business led by Quinton Hennigh and going to focus with science on unlocking the VMS deposit that is the secondary mine at Eskay Creek.", says President and CEO, Mac Balkam.
Additionally, according to Dr. Quinton Hennigh, Technical Advisor at Eskay Mining, the Company is well positioned in the Golden Triangle. "We know of multiple world-class deposits in our immediate vicinity.", says Hennigh. In fact, the Company is looking for a new high-grade VMS deposit like the Eskay Mine and are doing some very good science.
Markedly, two major deposits have been discovered along Eskay’s borders in the Golden Triangle. Pretium Resources Inc. to the east commercially began production the summer of 2017 at its BruceJack Mine. Also, Seabridge Gold to the direct east adjoining Eskay, with its KSM project is one of the largest undeveloped gold projects in the world measured by reserves.
" I think there's more discoveries to be made and we're doing some very fundamental science that hasn't been done to date. That's, I think, going to help improve the odds making such a discovery.", says Hennigh.
