Golden Predator Mining gold mine ESG

Golden Predator is applying ESG ( Environmental, Social and Governance) principles to their projects as they move ahead with the reopening of their Yukon gold mine.

"A hundred years ago, we were not really included in the mining activity, although it was First Nations people who had discovered gold in our traditional territory. But today that's different. We have a good working relationship with Golden Predator ", says Chief, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, Roberta Joseph

Golden Predator is supportive of a progressive, cooperative, relationship with all governments as they advance their projects. To explain, the company is committed to developing sustainable and long-term relationships. They believe they have an obligation to the communities in which they operate. Moreover, Golden Predator strives to be good stewards of the environment. They aim at being socially responsible through its actions and act as good neighbours always.

"Investors now are more progressive, and they have more social responsibility. So, it's really important that we evolve and speak to investors and their interests as well as the community interests", says CEO Janet Lee-Sheriff.

Brewery Creek Gold Mine

Golden Predator is advancing the past-producing Brewery Creek Gold Mine towards a timely resumption of mining activities. This is under its valid Quartz Mining and Water Licenses, in Canada’s Yukon. With established resources grading more than 1.0 g/t Gold and low capex to production in a safe first world jurisdiction, the turnkey Brewery Creek Mine has a clear path to production as an economically and environmentally proven project.

Further, optimization studies are progressing to enhance the already positive multi-phase project economics described in the 2014 Preliminary Economic Assessment. Drilling continues to expand the numerous open ended resources and untested targets across the 186 km2 brownfield property.
