Great Bear Receives Discovery of the Year Award

Great Bear Resources receives the 2018 "Bernie Schnieders Discovery of the Year Award". They won for the discovery of high-grade gold zones at their Dixie project.President and CEO of Great Bear, Chris Taylor, says the company looks forward to more finds at their Dixie property through 2019 and 2020."We have been fortunate to receive strong industry support for our exploration work over recent years, including an exploration grant during 2017/2018 in the amount of $100,000, as part of the Ontario Prospector Association's Junior Exploration Assistance Program, which partially funded our discovery drill program," says Chris Taylor according to the press release.The Discovery of the Year award goes to companies with stellar finds in Northwest Ontario during the previous calendar year.

The Dixie Project

Located in Red Lake, Ontario the Dixie property is based in one of the premier mining districts in Canada. In fact, the Red Lake mining district produces over 30,000,000 ounces of gold. In addition, the Dixie property covers a 10 km gold mineralized structure. Great Bear is also earning a 100% royalty-free interest in the West Madsen, Pakwash, Dedee and Sobel properties.
