Karus Mining: What Could Drilling Unlock in BC’s Cariboo Gold District?

Karus Mining is exploring the southern Cariboo Gold District in British Columbia, where an active drill program is testing the potential for a significant gold discovery.

Karus controls a large land position immediately south of Osisko’s Barkerville project in one of British Columbia’s established gold districts. The company is currently focused on its Cariboo Project, where approximately7,500 metres of drilling is planned to test known mineralized structures andevaluate their potential scale.

Drilling is underway, with the first assay results from the current program still to come. Management says early visual observations have encountered the geological features targeted based on previous drilling, although assays will be required to determine gold grades and mineralization.

Karus also brings significant industry experience to the project, including strategic advisor Peter Marrone, founder and former Executive Chairman of Yamana Gold and current Chairman and CEO of Allied Gold. Beyond Cariboo, the company holds the district-scale Mineral Creek Project, which hosts multiple gold and base-metal occurrences.

With a large land position, active drilling and new results ahead, Karusis focused on determining the scale of its gold potential in British Columbia.
