The company is fast tracking its Santa Fe project back into production.

Past production and new drilling support a path toward renewed operations.
Lahontan Gold Corp. is advancing gold and silver assets in Nevada’s Walker Lane, with a primary focus on bringing the Santa Fe mine back into production.
Santa Fe operated as a low-cost, open pit heap leach mine between 1988 and 1994.Lahontan’s strategy over the past several years has been centered on fast tracking the project toward production by drilling near existing pits to add mineable ounces.
With its plan of operations permit in place, the company is now focused on further defining the scale of the Santa Fe asset. At the same time, Lahontan is expanding exploration at West Santa Fe, a project located 13 kilometres from the main mine that was historically a silver producer.
As exploration progresses, the company is becoming increasingly encouraged by the silver component of its portfolio, which is now viewed as a meaningful contributor alongside gold.
