Advancing the largest primary gold deposit in Ecuador
Lumina Gold is a Vancouver, Canada based company focused on the Cangrejos Gold-Copper Project located in El Oro Province, southwest Ecuador. The management team of Lumina Gold has sold seven companies over the last 20 years and delivered to shareholders.
Cangrejos Gold-Copper Project
Lumina’s Cangrejos project is located in the Andean foothills of El Oro province, in southwestern Ecuador. El Oro province has a long established history of mining and hosts excellent infrastructure for the project: a deep-sea port, available hydro power and ample available water.
Lumina’s management has put out two PEA’s on the project and is currently drilling a 30,000 metre program to advance the project to a PFS. The last PEA demonstrated a 25 year mine life with ~370koz per year of gold production and ~50Mlbs a year of copper production. The NPV at $1,400/oz and $2.75/lb was US$1.6B.
