New Age Metals is a mineral exploration company. The Company has two divisions; a Platinum Group Metals division and a Lithium/Rare Element division. The PGM division includes the 100% owned River Valley Project, one of North America’s largest undeveloped Platinum Group Metals Projects. It's situated 100 kilometers from Sudbury, Ontario as well as the Genesis PGM Project in Alaska. The Lithium division is the largest mineral claim holder in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field. The Company is exploring for hard rock lithium and various rare elements such as tantalum and rubidium there.

Further, both of the metals center around the automobile industry. According to Chairman and CEO, Harry Barr, around 85 percent of palladium use in the world is used in the auto catalyst. This is an anti pollution device in your car.

"We have a large exploration program because there's a lot of upside and we've found a new area called the Pine Zone. So, we hope to start drilling there in March of this year and continue.", says Barr.

Moreover, the Company's philosophy is to be a project generator, explorer and project operator with the objective of Optioning/Joint Venturing its projects with major and junior mining companies, through to production.
