Focused on finding large copper or copper-gold deposits
Regulus Resources is an international mineral exploration company led by an experienced technical and management team. The Company's primary project is the AntaKori copper-gold-silver project in northern Peru.
Copper is a fundamental metal that's important for almost every aspect of what we do. For example, it's used in buildings and it's used in the electrification of vehicles. Moreover, Regulus is focusing on finding large copper or copper-gold deposits, mostly in South America.
The AntaKori project
Regulus' AntaKori Copper-Gold Project is located in northern Peru. "We're very, very excited about this project. It's emerging to be one of the more exciting copper-gold discoveries worldwide right now." says CEO, John Black.
Markedly, the AntaKori project currently hosts a resource with indicated mineral resources of 250 million tonnes with a grade of 0.48 % Cu, 0.29 g/t Au and 7.5 g/t Ag and inferred mineral resources of 267 million tonnes with a grade of 0.41 % Cu, 0.26 g/t Au, and 7.8 g/t Ag. Mineralization also remains open in most directions.
Additionally, Regulus has just received permits to step into a promising area called Anta Norte portion of its AntaKori copper-gold project in Cajamarca, Peru. "We're hitting strong holes, indicative of a very large system."says Black. "Hole 34 had over 800 meters at .77 copper equivalent. And in our mind, we still haven't really hit the more exciting part of the geophysical anomaly."
