President & COO of Tethyan Resources, Fabian Baker talks about the company's focus on copper and gold commodities.

"The focus of Tethyan is that we're a mineral exploration company exploring in Serbia and Eastern Europe. We've got one main asset but it looks like we've got multiple other projects.The commodity focus is copper and gold. I think many people agree that we're in a quite a strong  copper market at the moment and fundamentals look good going forward. With electrification of the world really into the future and at a time when good copper deposits are increasingly difficult to find, we're working in an environment where it's incredibly pro mining.

Serbia has a long history of mining so, our local community is very supportive. It's also a very cheap place to operate but at the same time we've got fantastic infrastructure. We're going to increase the number of drill rigs on the site. We're going to start with two and we'll move on from there. We've permitted for more than 14,000 meters of drilling and that drilling is going to be continuous throughout 2019. We're really lucky to have the support of the Augusta Group which is a group led by Richard Warke and they have a fantastic track record in exploration and development, fantastic mining jurisdiction, low cost place to operate, you can work year round and were well financed with a fantastic team to execute on our exploration strategy." - Fabian Baker, President & COO of Tethyan Resources
