Thesis Gold & Silver: Is This One of British Columbia’s Next Major Development Projects?

With a large gold and silver resource, strong PFS economics, and strategic backing from two major producers, Thesis is advancing the Lawyers-Ranch Project toward feasibility and permitting in a tier-one jurisdiction.

Thesis Gold & Silver is emerging as a notable development-stage company in British Columbia, supported by a 5.3 million ounce gold equivalent resource, a recently completed pre-feasibility study, and strategic investments from a two major global mining companies. The Lawyers-Ranch project combines scale, infrastructure access, and ongoing exploration upside, positioning it as a potential near-term development story in Canada’s mining sector.

Over the past 18 months, Thesis Gold & Silver has undergone a meaningful transformation, marked by a corporate rebrand and increased corporate and institutional interest. The rebrand reflects the growing importance of silver within the company’s resource base, with approximately 100 million ounces of silver identified alongside its gold resource. This shift signals a dual-metal development opportunity rather than a purely gold-focused project.

At the core of the investment case is a pre-feasibility study that outlines a project with defined scale significant upside and a clear production profile. Management points to strong economics and favourable infrastructure in northern British Columbia, a premier jurisdiction known for excellent geology, established mining operations and access to roads and power. These factors can play a key role in reducing development complexity compared to more remote projects.

A notable recent development has been the strategic investment by AngloGold Ashanti, which follows on last year's investment by Centerra Gold and provides external validation of the asset. Major mining companies typically take positions in projects where they see long-term development potential, particularly in stable jurisdictions. These investments suggests confidence in both the asset quality and the execution capability of the Thesis team.

Looking ahead, the company entered the environmental permitting phase, having submitted its initial project description to both provincial and federal regulators in December 2025. This marks a key milestone as Thesis advances toward a feasibility study to be published in late 2027. At the same time, exploration remains active across the broader land package, targeting both near-surface gold systems and deeper porphyry potential at Ranch.
