Metal Energy is a company that focuses on exploring for battery metals, such as nickel, copper, cobalt, and Platinum group metals. Their core project is the Manibridge Project, located in Manitoba, Canada, which is a past producing nickel mine. They believe there is potential for additional high-grade mineralization to be discovered and that the project has the potential to be a sizable deposit of high-grade nickel sulphides. They believe that as populations continue to grow, more batteries and more metal will be needed, and nickel is a battery metal that will remain in demand. The Manibridge project is expected to deliver nickel for future battery use.

James brings more than 15 years of mineral exploration and discovery experience to the team, most notably from prominent roles in high-grade uranium and rare earth element successes.  Over the past decade, he has been directly and indirectly involved with the discovery of over 500 M lbs. of U₃O₈ in the Athabasca Basin, having helped generate billions of dollars in shareholder appreciation.  James is also the CEO of Baselode Energy Corp., where they made a new uranium discovery with the company’s first drill program.
