Westward Gold is a mineral exploration company focused on developing the Toiyabe and Turquoise Canyon Projects located in the Cortez Hills area of Lander County, Nevada.
They have assembled a 3,000-hectare land package in the heart of Nevada’s Battle Mountain-Eureka Gold Trend, one of the most prospective mining districts in the world.
Toiyabe Project
Their Toiyabe Project consists of 165 mining claims over approximately 3,300 acres of public land administered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. The company has active drill permits in place, and historical drilling by past operators has identified large areas of mineralization that remain underexplored.
Turquoise Canyon Project
The Turquoise Canyon Project consists of 188 mining claims over approximately 3,800 acres of public land administered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. It sits immediately east of Toiyabe and has yet to see any drilling, despite anomalous gold in soils at surface and favourable geological structures trending from the west.
