K2 Gold: Exploring for California Gold

Gold exploration program started at Mojave gold property in California

K2 Gold is a junior resource company who is focusing on gold exploration. The Company already has a strong shareholder base. K2 Gold switched focus from the Yukon to California with a change in administration from the US government.

"We think we have a chance now to unlock an amazing asset that's been drilled in the past by some of the majors.", says President and CEO, Steve Swatton.

One of K2's projects is the Mojave gold property in California. The property is located 200 miles west of Las Vegas. According to Swatton, almost every hole has hit significant mineralization in the past but it was in a wilderness study area. Senator Feinstein took it out of the wilderness study area in the mid 90's because it has mineral potential. "We've actually started our exploration program. Mineralization is at surface, it's upside and it's known about.", says Swatton.

K2 plans to grow by acquiring further mineral properties in North America. They also plan on leveraging the Chairman’s past successes (Kaminak being the most recent), and undertaking smart, cost effective exploration.
