"We have almost two decades of extraction experience, which really sets us apart from our competitors", says President and CEO, Michael Cammarata.
Neptune has a technological edge over many of its competitors. While most of them use CO2 extraction, Neptune has experience with cold ethanol extraction.
"The cold ethanol technology gives us a couple advantages. One, it's two times more energy efficient and it's five times faster", says Cammarata. "But what's unique about the cold ethanol technology is it protects a lot of the cannabinoids and different ingredients and inside the cannabis plant", he continues.
From their state-of-the-art facility in Sherbrooke, Quebec, they're focused on the development of value-added and differentiated products for the Canadian cannabis, global medical cannabis and industrial hemp markets.

The Company has in excess of 100 customers across several verticals including; legal cannabis and hemp, nutraceutical and consumer packaged goods. Moreover, Neptune’s wholly owned subsidiary, 9354-7537 Québec Inc., is licensed by Health Canada to process cannabis at its 50,000-square-foot facility located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The Company also has a 24,000 square-foot facility located in North Carolina to process hemp biomass into extracts. Further, Neptune brings decades of experience in the natural products sector to the legal cannabis and hemp industries.
