Nine Mile Metals: Applies New Geophysics to Unlock Hidden Deposits in Bathurst
Nine Mile Metals is applying new geophysical techniques to revisit historical deposits that lacked surface exposure. Many mineralized bodies in Bathurst are vertical and hidden beneath cover, making traditional exploration difficult.

Cutting Edge UAV drone surveying targets high-grade polymetallic mineralization in historic Canadian camp
What is Nine Mile Metals exploring?
Nine Mile Metals is using industry leading UAV drone-based geophysics algorythm based interpretation combined with targeted drilling to expand historical polymetallic deposits in the Bathurst Mining Camp, targeting copper, zinc, lead, silver, gold and antimony mineralization.
The Bathurst Mining Camp in New Brunswick has produced major mineral discoveries for decades. The challenge today is not whether metals exist, but whether modern technology can locate what older exploration methods could not.

CEO Patrick Cruickshank explains the opportunity comes from advancements in airborne surveying. Drone and UAV-based geophysics now allow companies to interpret subsurface structures u to 800m depth with far greater accuracy. Working with specialized geoscience groups, the company is identifying targets that were previously undetectable.
The company focuses on volcanogenic massive sulphide mineralization, containing copper, lead, zinc, silver and gold, along with antimony. These multi-metal systems can support economic development when sufficient scale and grade are confirmed.
Nine Mile Metals has 2 Flagship Projects, Nine Mile Brook & the historic Wedge Mine Trend. Nine Mile Brook Lens is the highest grade VMS Lens recorded in the entire bathurst Mining camp. The Wedge Project hosts a historical resource. Ongoing drilling is aimed at expanding and upgrading the deposit, with a target scale of approximately 10 million tonnes. The company has already added mineralization to the historical footprint and is designing phase 3 Drill Program for May 2026.
Bathurst offers logistical advantages including year-round access, relatively low drilling costs and strong provincial support for mining activity. The region previously hosted the Brunswick 12 mine, which operated for decades, highlighting the long-term potential of the camp.
Nine Mile Metals recently completed a drill program and is awaiting assay results while preparing the next phase of exploration.
