Osisko Development: Building a Sustainable Future in Gold Mining

February 18, 2025

Advancing One of Canada’s Largest Underground Gold Mines

Osisko Development is making significant progress on its newly permitted underground gold project in British Columbia, a historic mining district with a strong production legacy. With over 800,000 meters of drilling completed since 2016, the company has outlined 2 million ounces of reserves and 3.3 million ounces of total resources, supporting its goal of producing 220,000 ounces of gold annually.

Beyond resource expansion, Osisko is committed to ESG-friendly mining, integrating electrification and automation into its operations. The site will be powered by BC Hydro’s Site C, reducing its carbon footprint while enhancing efficiency. With full mining and environmental permits secured in November 2024 and over $100 million in cash reserves, Osisko is well-positioned to move forward with construction and exploration.
