Osisko Development is a newly created premier North American gold mining company. They're mainly focused on developing a mining camp in Canada.
"We are in a position to set the stage to build what we believe will be a very world-class gold mine here in Canada," says Roosen. In fact, Osisko owns 2,000 square kilometers of mineral lands located in central B.C. on the Cariboo Gold Project with over 83 kilometres of mineralized trend, ready to drill. Further, the Cariboo Gold Project is an underground gold mine in the historic Cariboo Mining District. It sits just east and southeast of the City of Quesnel.
Osisko has drilled 600,000 meters over the last 5 years and documented a significant amount of discoveries. "The Cariboo Gold Project really offers us an exceptional opportunity to build what will be one of the most sustainable and environmentally responsible mines in the sector," says CEO and Chairman, Sean Roosen.
Osisko Development also has a project in Mexico, the San Antonio Gold Project, that's over 11,000 hectares. Moreover, the company is dedicating 5 million dollars to drilling there in 2021.
