Sable Resources is a well-funded junior grassroots explorer. They're focusing on the discovery of new precious metal projects through systematic exploration in endowed terranes located in favourable, established mining jurisdictions. In fact, Sables’ main focus is developing their large portfolio of new projects to resource stage utilizing their Upper Level Epithermal Strategy. The drill projects Don Julio, Margarita, Vinata and El Escarpe lead this strategy, backed by a substantial early stage project pipeline in Argentina, Mexico and Peru.
Don Julio
The Don Julio project sits on the eastern margin of the Cordillera Principal of Argentina. It also may represent the southern extension of the well-endowed El Indio-Pascua mineral belt which hosts 50Moz+ Au.
Sable initially drilled 3101m of core drilling in 11 drill holes at Esperanza and Heaven Hill targets. They obtained weak Au anomalies associated with advanced argillic alteration on the Miocene – Carboniferous unconformity but not intercepting significant mineralization. Moreover, the six targets located within the Don Julio cluster are all drill permitted and the company is designing the most appropriate drilling plan to test them.
El Fierro
El Fierro Project is located in the San Juan province in Argentina. It sits 120 km North of Sable’s Don Julio Project and 250 km NW of San Juan Capital city. Two main zones have been identified at El Fierro. These zones are Fierro Bajo and Fierro Alto, separated by 6 km of unexplored ground. Markedly, the El Fierro Project has never been drilled and Sable will start a 2000m campaign in February 2021 to test the main mineralized structures.
