Silver North Resources: Can New Discoveries in Keno Hill Lead to a High-Grade Silver Deposit?

With multiple discoveries at Haldane and a funded drill program, Silver North is advancing exploration in one of Canada’s most historic silver districts.

Silver North Resources is exploring high-grade silver deposits in Yukon’s Keno Hill Silver District, where recent discoveries at its Haldane project have returned strong results. With a funded exploration program through 2027 and ongoing drilling aimed at defining the scale of mineralization, the company is working toward outlining a potential district-scale silver deposit.

Silver North Resources is focused on advancing its Haldane project in Yukon, located within the Keno Hill Silver District, a region with more than a century of high-grade silver production. The company has made three new discoveries on the property, with drilling confirming grades consistent with the district’s historical profile.

Exploration efforts are centered on a main fault structure identified in earlier work, which has since been expanded through follow-up drilling. The current program is designed to define the size and continuity of this zone, with management targeting a deposit scale comparable to others in the district. In Keno Hill, deposits in the range of tens of millions of ounces are considered typical benchmarks for development.

In addition to Haldane, the company is advancing the Tim project in southern Yukon through a partnership with Coeur Mining via its exploration arm. The project is part of a broader carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) district, where silver, lead, and zinc mineralization is being explored at scale. This partnership allows Silver North to maintain exposure while leveraging external expertise and funding.

With capital in place to fund exploration through 2027, Silver North is positioned to continue drilling across its projects while benefiting from broader market dynamics. Industrial demand for silver continues to outpace supply, particularly in sectors such as energy and technology, which may influence long-term exploration interest in high-grade districts like Keno Hill.
